I am a third generation woodworker. My grandfather was a master cabinet maker who often made toys for his children and grandchildren. My father continued the tradition, making many of the toys I enjoyed as a child. Both shared the joy of woodworking with me. Some of the toys I make are recreations of my childhood toys.
Retirement from the working world has given me time to pursue my passion for making wooden toys and an eclectic collection of small wooden objects. I also have a passion for using recycled wood, often from shipping pallets, and old cast iron 1940's power tools. My jointer, scroll saw, and lathe are big, heavy, solid and old. I love them!
I recently started dabbling with welding old horseshoes together to create yard art and modest sculptures. Watch for some interesting creations.
